Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
This policy covers Ronic Runners for iOS and Android, published by Sumeet Joon under the Ronic name (bundle and package identifier ai.ronic.cwiagents). Contact sumeet@ronic.ai with privacy questions.
Ronic Runners connects adults with existing accounts to their authorised runner workspace. Accounts are provided by the workspace operator; the app does not offer account registration, advertising or in-app purchases.
Information processed
- Account access: your username, authentication credentials submitted to the runner at sign-in, account permissions and the access token returned by the runner. The password is not saved by the app; the access token is kept in the operating system’s secure storage.
- Workspace content: prompts, AI responses, session names and identifiers, working directory paths, tool activity, queue records, and the photos, videos and documents you choose to attach. The app displays and synchronises records from your connected runner.
- Local data: downloaded conversation history, preferences, drafts, selected attachments and pending submission records needed for offline access and recovery.
- Service and support data: servers can process network addresses and request information for authentication, operation and security. When you contact support or send an in-app report, we receive the account information and details you choose to submit.
The production runner app does not use advertising identifiers, sell personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. It does not read your contacts, SMS inbox, call log, device location or microphone. It does not automatically send your conversations as analytics or crash reports.
Permissions and local controls
- Camera: used when you choose to take a photo to attach. No background camera recording takes place.
- Photos and documents: you choose individual items with the system picker. Only selected files are attached to a message when you submit it.
- App lock: device authentication uses Face ID, fingerprint or your device passcode. Ronic Runners does not receive biometric templates.
- Sharing: the system share sheet transfers only the content you choose to the app or recipient you select. A diagnostic report is prepared locally and is not sent until you choose to share it.
You can revoke optional camera permission in device settings. Clearing the downloaded cache keeps sign-in, preferences, drafts and pending submissions. Signing out removes the app’s local account credentials and account data. Neither action deletes records or stops queues on the runner. Exported files and recipients’ copies remain under their own controls.
Purposes and recipients
Information is used to authenticate you, enforce workspace access, synchronise sessions, deliver your instructions and selected files, display AI output, recover pending work, investigate reports and keep the service secure.
Your workspace operator and authorised users can access records according to their permissions. The connected runner sends prompts, context and selected files to the AI provider used for the session, including Anthropic for Claude and OpenAI for Codex. The provider, account settings and workspace configuration determine that processing. Hosting, storage and security providers process the information needed to operate the service. Review confidential information before submitting it, and ask your operator which services and settings apply.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to investigate abuse, protect users and the service, or defend legal rights. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
Storage, security and retention
The app communicates with the runner over HTTPS/TLS. Access tokens use operating-system secure storage. Downloaded transcripts, drafts and files remain in app-controlled local storage; the app does not claim to separately encrypt its entire local database. Protect your device with a passcode and the app lock. Workspace operators and AI providers can process conversation content; this is not end-to-end encrypted messaging between users.
Server records are retained for the operation of your workspace and according to its configuration and legal obligations. Support requests are retained while needed to investigate, respond and document the outcome. Necessary records may remain for security, legal obligations, disputes or backup recovery. Retention differs between operators and processors; contact us to learn the applicable period or request deletion. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and deletion
You can request access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights available under applicable law. Follow the account and data deletion instructions, contact your workspace administrator, or email sumeet@ronic.ai. We may verify your identity and coordinate with the organisation controlling the records. We will explain any records that must be retained and the applicable reason. Uninstalling the app does not delete server data.
International processing and children
Ronic, your workspace operator and providers may process information in countries other than your own. This application is intended for adult workspace users and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when the app or its practices change. The date above identifies this version. Visit Ronic Runners support or email sumeet@ronic.ai. Visits to ronic.ai are covered separately by the website privacy policy.
